Dyno Policies
Running a vehicle on a chassis dyno carries inherent risk. Even properly prepared vehicles can experience mechanical failure under load.
Diagnostic sessions are intended for you and your tuner to identify problems and do not include PDRE technician time.
In the event of catastrophic failure causing fluid spills, debris, or extensive cleanup, a $350 mop-up fee will be applied.
PDRE dyno services are best suited for performance cars, tuning work, and customers who arrive with a mechanically sound vehicle.

Dyno FAQ
Do I need to bring my own tuner?
For tuning rental and most diagnostic sessions, yes. These sessions are intended for you and your tuner and do not include PDRE tech time unless otherwise arranged.
How long does tuning usually take?
Most tuning rental sessions typically take 4–6 hours depending on engine management, fuel type, boost control, drivability needs, and overall vehicle complexity.
What happens if my car leaks or breaks?
Minor issues may result in the session being stopped. Catastrophic failures that create a major cleanup situation will incur the $350 mop-up fee.
Can I book a session just to get power numbers?
Yes. The 3 Pull Session is the best option for that. It’s ideal for baseline checks, power verification, and before/after comparisons.
What kind of vehicles do you prefer?
PDRE dyno services are geared toward performance vehicles, modified street cars, race cars, and professional tuning sessions rather than casual curiosity pulls.
Do I need to prepare the car beforehand?
Absolutely. The vehicle should be mechanically sound, have the correct fuel in it, no active leaks, safe tires, and be capable of being securely strapped to the dyno.
