PDR-1000

The PDR-1000 takes our proven PDR-800 platform to the next level, designed for customers targeting power levels up to 1000 HP.

For this package, we exclusively use seasoned Subaru case halves, ensuring maximum stability and reduced risk of case distortion under extreme cylinder pressures. The cases are closed-decked and precision machined, creating a rigid foundation capable of handling very high boost and power levels.

Internally, the PDR-1000 upgrades the rotating assembly with I-beam connecting rods in a long-rod configuration, paired with forged pistons and secured using ARP 625+ rod bolts for exceptional strength under high load. As with the PDR-800 platform, 1/2" head studs are required to maintain proper cylinder head clamping and head gasket reliability at extreme cylinder pressures.

The result is an extremely robust shortblock designed for large rotated turbo setups and high-power builds, providing the strength and reliability needed for serious 900–1000 HP applications.
